70% RECYCLING AND REUSING

MATERIALS

The artist uses recovered and recycled materials to create her products, in the proportion of 70%, depending on the work to carry out.

Frames are made mainly of solid wood and plywood with the addition of wire mesh for tables and benches.

Bags, purses, pochette and rucksacks  are stiffened with plywood onto which the skin is fixed.

Decorative panels are made of plywood and multilayer wood. Coloured fabric, often cotton, is sewn and fixed inside the bags. Rings, snap hook and other details are made of silver, gold and bronze metal.

RECOVERY LEATHER

The artist lives near an important tanning and footwear manufacturing district. The artist recovers the tanned leather, its flexibility allows different processes. A lot of scrap material is available, which is repurposed and used to create bags and 'Playing cards' and being second-hand, often has small flaws or frays that become , appropriately chosen, distinctive features in the artworks.

PAPER MACHE

Papier mache is created with newspapers and glue,it becomes like a clay, with it it’s possible to create very light sculptures. The artist uses papier-machè due to the easy availability of paper and its ductility.
